Stourhead House & Gardens (14 miles)
Stourhead is a 2,650 acre (11 km²) National Trust property which includes a Palladian mansion, the village of Stourton, gardens, farmland, and woodland – a wonderful day out for couples and families alike.

Stonehenge (15 miles)
Walk in the footsteps of your Neolithic ancestors at Stonehenge, one of the best-known prehistoric monuments in Europe believed to be built between 300BC and 2000BC.

Lacock Village (18 Miles)
Visit the picturesque village of Lacock, home to the beautiful National Trust property, Lacock Abbey, a country house with stunning gardens and has featured in many films, most notably Harry Potter!

Salisbury (19 miles)
This medieval cathedral city is known as ‘the city in the countryside’ and plays host to many attractions, events and activities. From Salisbury Cathedral to historic shopping streets, Salisbury has something to offer all tastes and interests.

Bath (20 miles)
It’s easy to fall in love with Bath, a place built for pleasure and relaxation by the Romans. After you’ve explored the Georgian architecture of the Royal Crescent and paid a visit to the Roman Baths come back and unwind in the easy elegance of Bishopstrow.

Avebury (28 miles)
Visit the National Trust protected Avebury, home to a World Heritage Neolithic site and the largest megalithic stone circle in the world. This historical destination is also a place of religious importance to contemporary pagans and well worth a visit.
