We are currently looking for a full time receptionist at the Bishopstrow Hotel and Spa, we are looking for someone who is well presented with good organisational skills, to join our reception team. This individual will be a motivated and enthusiastic person, with high levels of customer service and good communication skills. As part of our reception team you will be responsible for welcoming resident and non-resident guests to the hotel. You will carry out check ins and check outs, maintain the switchboard, handle accommodation and restaurant bookings and payments, and will be advising guests of hotel and local facilities and services. Experience in a similar environment preferable although full training will be given to the right candidate.

Spa Night Cleaner

Job Summary: To provide a warm greeting for all guests to maintain the established benchmark of excellence throughout the spa facilities. Main Duties: To undertake the cleaning of specified spa areas to ensure the spa facilities are at kept to a high standard and rectify by yourself if standard are below expectations To provide a high quality Spa experience to all guests and members

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: To work as a part of the spa team to ensure that all operational standards are met and exceeded. To maintain a high team focus by showing co-operation and support to colleagues in the pursuit of departmental goals To provide exceptional levels of internal and external customer service. To greet guests in a professional and caring manner throughout your shift. To complete all administrational tasks and paperwork, ensuring a high level of accuracy and competence. To ensure all that all health & safety checks are completed prior to the opening of the spa. To carry out all tasks in accordance with the spas Health, Safety and Hygiene Policy. To know the emergency procedure for the spa and be able to communicate this clearly to all other staff and clients. To attend any meetings or training courses or workshops as required. To assist team members in different departments as and when necessary for the smooth departmental operation. To ensure that the spa is set up to exacting standards prior to the commencement of business. To deal with initial complaints following the standards as set out in the Spa handbook, maintain a positive impact, taking personal responsibility and initiative to resolve issues, always clearly communicating with both clients and colleagues .* To ensure that the presentation and cleanliness in the spa is set to the highest standards, ready for the following day at 7 am. To ensure the communication book is checked daily, signed and actioned as appropriate. To ensure that all open and close checklists are completed daily. To be aware of and comply with statutory requirements regarding the work place such as health and safety, hygiene, fire prevention, manual handling and chemicals and other substances that may be hazardous to your health. Administration To complete all administrational tasks paperwork and check sheets ensure a high level of accuracy and competence. Cleaning and Laundry Issues To ensure that all guest areas within the spa are clean, tidy and well maintained ready for the next shift. Liaise with maintenance and cleaning departments in respect of out of order services etc. To maintain a good working relationship with Housekeeping, ensuring that we have suitable levels of towels and robes in order to run the business successfully. Responsible for reporting any maintenance issues with spa facilities throughout the evening. Training To attend training courses and develop levels of knowledge as requested by the Spa Manager. To be proactive with your approach to all in-house training, allowing for any advance preparation time in order to provide constructive advice and opinions. To give relevant feedback to the Spa Manager on any training supplied by the company. Communication To maintain open channels of communication between you and your work colleagues at all times. This will ensure that messages are conveyed as and when necessary. To always read the relevant hand over book before you start your shift in order to remain well informed. To attend all staff meetings unless advised otherwise by the Spa Manager. To communicate effectively to guests with the respect and care appropriate for such a personal service. To be knowledgeable and be able to effectively communicate the benefits and user guidelines of all wet spa and thermal facilities. To carry out any reasonable task as requested by a member of the management team. General To clothe and present yourself in a manner that reflects the high standards of the Hotel. To refer any urgent maintenance issues to the Spa Manager at the earliest convenience. To be respectful of confidentiality and privacy and treat guests with the highest level of professional etiquette. To work with the Longleat management team and to carry out any other reasonable duties that may be requested to ensure the smooth running of the spa department.  Commis Chef

As a member of the kitchen team to assist in the running of the Kitchen department or section on a day-to-day basis which will necessitate the delivery of consistent food products in-line with agreed recipes and standards of all menu items. Main Responsibilities: To undertake food preparation and cooking if items on a day to day basis in a kitchen section directed by the Head Chef / Sous Chef.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Spa Therapist to join an established team within this luxury spa. You will be responsible for offering high end treatments and have the ability to sell retail products. Ensuring high standards at all times and report directly to the Head Therapist or Spa Manager.
