Hotel Group – Sales Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting new opportunity has opened up working for Longleat Group Hotels. The ideal candidate will assist the Hotel General Managers in achieving their hotel top line revenues in line with current budgets by identifying new sales leads through Leisure agencies, direct corporate, MICE & celebration markets and to develop and convert these leads into revenue. Additionally, all current accounts to be maintained with our existing clients through regular contact and communication. Reporting to the Hotels General Manager this is a new key position for us at a time when sales and demand are increasing and our product is evolving rapidly.

 

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a strategic thinker with excellent sales and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in business development/sales in a similar environment. You must possess fantastic interpersonal skills, with a pragmatic and flexible approach.

 

REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a similar role preferred having worked in the hospitality industry with relevant sales qualifications essential.

 

HOURS OF WORK
This is a permanent full time contract working 40 hours minimum a week Monday to Friday with the flexibility to work some weekends and bank holidays. Food & Beverage Supervisor

We are looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team in the Mulberry Restaurant, you will part of a close-knit, quality-focused team. Maintaining standards of food & beverage quality, service, hygiene, sales and communication operating procedures. Ensure that guests are provided with an efficient, friendly and courteous service. To train the team and continually support and develop their skills.

Kitchen Porter

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen brigade where you will be part of a close-knit, quality-focused F & B team. Maintaining standards of food & beverage quality, service and hygiene and ensuring that guests are provided with an efficient, friendly and courteous service.
You would need to ensure the Kitchen area is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard at all times. You will be cleaning all kitchen utensils, and equipment, ensuring items are ready and available for our chef team to use. Other key duties include cleaning floors, counter areas, emptying bins and complying with current Health & Safety legislation.

 

ABOUT YOU
Experience within a busy kitchen environment is desirable but not essential. You will be able to work as part of a team with good communication skills.

 

HOURS OF WORK
This is a hands on position working on a casual ‘ as and when required’ basis, to support a 7 day rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.

Receptionist

ABOUT THE ROLE
As part of the reception team you will be responsible for welcoming resident and non-resident guests to the hotel. You will carry out check in and check outs, maintain the switchboard, handle accommodation, restaurant bookings and payments, and will be advising guests of hotel and local facilities and services.

Sous Chef

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
A proven track record within a similar hotel environment
Intermediate Food Hygiene desirable
NVQ Level 3 in Food Production and Cooking or Professional Cookery or equivalent
Knowledge of the relevant Hygiene, Health & Safety guidelines
A good level of English

Spa Receptionist

ABOUT THE ROLE
An excellent  opportunity for a Spa Receptionist is now available.  This position involves ensuring the smooth day to day operation of the busy Spa Reception to ensure guests receive the highest quality experience in a relaxing and tranquil environment.  Key duties include taking both spa day and treatment reservations both over the telephone and face to face, maximizing product retail sales , dealing with a range of guest queries and ensuring all operating procedures are adhered to.  A wide range of general administrative duties are also required
Our Spa Receptionist will ensure our guests’ requirements are always achieved and naturally seek out opportunities to exceed their expectations, ensuring a prompt and professional service.

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a customer facing role preferably within a reception environment

 

ABOUT YOU
Our ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for providing outstanding guest service and maintaining the highest standards. A general knowledge of spa operations is desirable although full training will be given

 

HOURS OF WORK
This is a part time role, working 20 hrs per week over 5 days including some weekends and evenings until  7pm on a rota basis.
