Many impressive stately homes, historic monuments, beautiful gardens, impressive golf courses, cathedral cities, castles, safari parks are all within easy distance of Bishopstrow House. If you haven't been before, Stourhead Gardens are a must. So too is Stonehenge, just 20 minutes away, Wilton House and the Georgian city of Bath, home to the Roman Baths and Iford Manor, renowned music festival and some of the finest architecture in Europe.
The splendid town of Salisbury with the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral spire is singularly impressive whilst Lacock must surely be one of the loveliest, unspoilt villages in England. If you have children you'll almost certainly want to take a trip to Longleat House and Safari Park, only 10 minutes away.
